Subject: MM010GUS.ZIP is lame
The MM010GUS.ZIP file on epas/wuarchive is lame. The programmer (okay, me)
hard-coded his baseport into the startup so unless you also have your GUS
on the 260h base, don't even bother with MM. I'll get a reasonable fix on
epas sometime soon. Probably MM011GUS.ZIP. Thanks to he-knows-who for
informing me of the problem.
Well, that makes two people that have contacted me in the two months that
I've had something for the GUS. I was hoping for a bit more support. Oh,
well. OPL2/3 will be included in the next version. I may wait until then
before resending MM. MM? Nothing much now, no, but, oh, the potential (heh).

Elsewhere in this mailing I mention that the problem with MM010 is that
the baseport is hard-coded. This is not the problem with MM010.EXE, however,
since the ULTRASND= eVar is being used. The next possible thing to try
is to the /t0 command-line option, though if that's the problem then that
means the GUS you're using is flakey (something you'd probably have found
out before). Until I get some specific problem reports, there's not much
to go on.

I suppose I could email you direct Eric, but in case I'm not the only one
interested I thought I'd ask here.
With all these planned chnages to PCPro there'll obviously be upgrades
happening. What is your policy regarding these for owners of previous versions
of PCPro in terms of cost and distribution.
BTW great idea to have a PCPro demo.
